I went to start my car and all of a sudden my REAR LEFT brake area was SMOKING. What the hell man. I though my car was gonna blow up and hit the fuel lines LOL, SO anyway Please tell me whats going on. I think theres somthing going on with my cables. There not the best in the world. |OH WELL> But I have never ever seen my REAR LEFT Brakc caliper start smoking From trying to start my car. Please HELP??????

electrical short of some type. check for any wires that may have melted together in the engine bay. Espescially since you did alot of work around the abs.

a ground wire touching wouldnt be a problem really, its those darned positive cables that cause problems! your whole car is basically a giant ground cable. You have to make sure the positives are all sealed well.

its possible, but there is an abs sensor back there, and you have something sendign power where it doesnt belong, thats for sure. Just go do a check.

ok ILL check it out in the mourning. BUt does this sound like it could be a major problem.? I hope not. Also. Theres a cable attaced to the Starter cable. IT seems to be loose. Im not sure if it needs to be mounted anywhere. But could that be a ground wire? IF so does it need to be mounted to the car. Thanks
