I need some help and don’t know anyone that knows these cars. I have a 94 camaro I just put a new stock short block in and I’m haveing issues with it studdering/hesitating/ misfiring when it’s under light throttle / cruising. Replaced opti/ plugs/ wires/ and o2’s with no change to what’s going on and I don’t know where else to look. Car has lt4 hotcam. 3 angle valve job. 1.6 rr’s with supporting valve train. LT headers. Full 3” exhaust turned down behind the axle. EGR and AIR deleted and tuned out And a mail order tune from moe Bailey done by the previous owner for the list of mods above. Any help would be appreciated thanks

I offered suggestions on LT1 stuff in upstate NY in your other thread.

I'm going to close the other thread, so we don't have two duplicate threads going, people duplicating responses because they are not aware there are two threads, etc.

Ok so I have an update. After rokaceing the opti/ plugs and wires and o2 sensors with no luck getting rid of the stumbles /misfire at low throttle. I decided to put the hooker aero chamber muffler back on and the problem got a whole lot better. It still stumbles a little bit but not even close to how it was. Also noticed that t runs perfect when cold and in open loop. Then starts again in closed loop. But like I said now that I put the muffler back on it has gotten a lot better. Why would that be?? Still not fully gone but a lot better. Actually enjoyable now but still wanna figure out the complete fix. Thank you guys

Check for a minor exhaust leak ahead of the O2 sensors...they are a bugger on AF ratios
