my friend will be getting his disassembled short block back from the machine shop tuesday and i was wondering if anyone experienced in putting an lt1 back together could lend us some help being as weve never done it before. i know assembly should be opposite of disassembly but theres always tips and tricks that the experienced know, and we want to do it right the first time. hes got a 306 cam in the garage and wants to know the best valve springs and various other valve train components we will need to properly run that cam. any help is appreciated.
