If it had been put in backwards , it would have been very very tough to install. Guess anything is possible though.

No it wasn't put in backwards. It's pretty hard to switch it around, the pressure plate would almost be impossible to put on LOL

That is very true.

To start the car you will need to hold down the black switch under the clutch pedal and turn the key(that is what I did to start mine with the tranny out).

I know you said everything was balanced correctly with the crankshaft and the harmonic balancer..... But... I installed my balancer and it had been twisted at the sleeve by accident some how so it wasn't true when it was installed in the correct position and it made my car vibrate sooooo bad! I changed it out and put a new one back on my car and everything was perfect then.

Interesting.... because the device on the front of the crankshaft is not a "balancer"..... its a neutral balanced damper, to eliminate cyclic/harmonic radial twisting of the crank in response to the cylinders firing.
