Thanks for the help guys is this a good nos cam for a 200 shot ?
i will end up with about 12:1 comp. I want high 11s on motor. On the afr 210 heads i don`t have to use a offset rocker right ?
If i go to a solid cam witch one should i use ? and what else do i need ? should i use girdles. Also part numbers would be great.
The only down side to a solid cam is i will have to lash the valves more often right ?? This will be a week end driver thanks again for the help Tim

hey tim, hows it goin buddy? long time no see. anyways, i have a solid cam in my Iroc, only had to adj. the rockers once (and its not a roller or roller rockers). but I dont think I had to cause I loosend them and tightened them right back to where they were. unless you drive the heck outta that car, you should only have to lash them two times a year, if you really want to be safe. once in spring, then maybe in the middle of the year. also, another good thing about solid cams is you can play around w/the lash settings, a little tighter will act like a bigger cam, alittle looser will act like a smaller cam. start w/the factory spec on the lash and try it both ways at the track, see if you pick up any MPH either way. but the downside is Im pretty sure you'll have to tune out the knock sensor completely, so your losing one of your bene's of having F.I.

I'll be emailing ya soon.
