Hey guys my car keeps failing emissoins. I went yesterday and i failed the hydrocarbon (i had 3.4 and i need .8) So i put new O2s on last night. Went back today and i stilled failed (I had 2.17 need .8) I passed my CO2 both times, but yesterday it was 4.9 and today it was 12.5 (i need 15.0 to pass) Why would have this gone up so much? BTW this is a 95 formula 6 speed. I have new opti, plugs, wires, O2s. I have looked for exhaust leaks and can't find any. The only thing i can think is the cat, but i had my exhaust of 2 months ago and it looked fine.

What do you guys think i should do?

The cat may look fine, but it may be bad anyway.

 

I have headers (shorties), but i have all the emissions stuff still hooked up. Is there anyway that i can get the cat tested or do i just have to buy a new one and see if that was the problem? I don't really want to do that because i was going to get rid of my cat after i pass.
