IIRC, the rotor has 2 little tabs that only fit one way. I betcha you crossed a plug wire or 2...

Also make sure that the OPTI is indexed correctly. I just got done fighting with this myself. I ended up haveing to buy a new opti, cap and rotor. What year is your car?

It's really hard to help when you don't even give the year of the car. There are two different versions of the opti and the drives are different. Nobody wants to spend time explaining something that might not even pertain to your year car.

DLindlZ28, Im glad you got your problem taken care of. But first off I highly doubt shoebox was trying to be rude. He was just passing on helpful info that will only help "you" down the road. As for him not helping, he would be one of the very first to lend advice to any problem you have. He is a VERY key person to this message board and has helped me and countless others track and diagnose there issues with there vehicles. All in all, next time just provide the key info about your car. Another helpful thing is to just make a signature with what year and model your car is and what mods you have so people dont have to ask for all the key info. Just remember people usuallly arnt rude here, they just need the basic info to help "you". Good luck with your ride.
