Angry Need Help Major Skip

Well this was stupid on my part, but its been done and now i can't change what happened. Well I still smoked the stang. Ok here goes I was at the track the other night and as i was shifting from 2nd to 3rd i shoved it into 1st instead. Now I have a major skip at around 4 grand and above. I have had the tranny check and I have been told its not the tranny. So does anyone know what the problem might be. The oil pressure is fine holding good pressure as normal. The engine has only about 8,000 miles on it

My fiance did that once in my car, before I did the cam, when I checked I had 1 bent pushrod (very slight bend).

You have to pull all the pushrods out to check them for straightness. Rolling them on a piece of glass seems to be the accepted test.
