no power

sorry about the above post... fat fingered it.

I just got my car back from the shop, and it seems like I have no power, I changed the plugs and wires last night, it seemed to help some, but its still acting very sluggish

Whenever I take my foot of the gas I get a loud whine from the rear end, I have alot of different suspensio mods so I wasn't sure if that could be the reason. Also when I am driving and go to slow down, the car almost wants to shut off.

Any body have a clue. I do get the SES light, while I idle (when I first turn on the car), but it goes away. The car is also running alittle hot, I am still trying to fix that problem.

When I pulled the plugs each side had 2 plugs indicating a rich condition and 2 indicating a lean condition.

Please help or give some suggestions.

Thanks
Kevin

Why was your car in the shop? I don't know what's going on with the power loss or rich/lean condition, since I don't have much to go on. But as far as running warm goes, open those bleeder screws on your radiator hose until no more air comes out to bleed the system.

Also the SES light.. is that just when you start the car and all the things on the dash kinda blink on for a sec or two then go away? If so this is normal for every Fbod...
This isnt the "check guages" light right? (which i know goes on if your car overheats).

power loss

I had a new clutch, flywheel (SLP) installed.

They fuc**d up my starter, so now it won't fully disengage. otherwise I am not sure whats going on, I swapped in a 95 LT1 engine, PCM and wiring harness, so I don't know who to read the codes since they use different connections under the dash.

Is there anyway to tell if your radiator is clogged? I opend the cap, and the fluid wasn't moving very fast (after the thermostat should have been open).

If you have any questions that could help figure out what it might be, I would be glad to send it to ya.

Thanks
Kevin Hershey

SES light

The SES light will come on for about 5-10 minutes, as I drive around it goes off. I have no way to test to see what the SES problem is.
