Need Help On Kooks Install

Just trying to put air pump connections to headers but they are totaly different. My 95 trans am has a fine thread female end on manifolds but the kooks have coarse male end which i think is metric because i bought some adaptors and tube to make new connector but they have same thread but are slightly too small. Is there another year lt1 that would have right end to fit kooks that i could get from gm.
Thanks

I had the same problem with my MACs, the one side of the nipple needed to be a female flare and the other a female 3/4 NPT I think. I ended up just tack welding them in place.

I wish I had the answer for you (which I guess means I'm not contributing
much to the thread).

The only contribution I can make is that all the emissions fittings screwed
right up with no issues (on my car). Have you checked that the threads
are clean and that they are not borked?

My factory on my 97 had the male npt fitting, along with my SLP shorties I used to have. My pacesetters that I ordered have this also. Is it a latter year LT1 thing?

take a pic to make sure we are talking about the same thing.

Unless your 95 is a CA emissions A4 (dual cat), the AIR piping should have a male thread that is equivalent to M22-1.5. That's what most people are able to use to plug the holes on the stock manifolds and most headers with the female threads.

kooks

Thats right air pipe is a fine thread male end. kooks are coarse thread male end. Did any cars come with coasre threaded female ended air pipes that would fit these headers?
Thanks.
