Question Need help identifying AFR 195cc heads

I bought a set of AFR LT4 195cc from a board member here(http://web.camaross.com/forums/showt...ferrerid=22266) and when I got them I saw this: http://jody.dltechnologies.com/afr_heads/pic02.jpg

So my question is, how to I accurately identify what kind of heads these are?

Here are more pics:

Thanks a bunch,

Jody J.

Mine had the same stamping on them and I called AFR about it. They swore up and down they were 195's.

Thanks guys. I just got off the phone with AFR and they said those are 195's, so go figure.

I also got an e-mail back from Scott, the person that sold me the heads and intake. He also had the same question when he got it and also was told the same thing by AFR. So he took the LT1 intake gasket and put it against the head and sure enough the LT1 gasket was smaller than the intake runner.

Now I can rest easier.

Second question, I currently have P&P heads on the car that flowed:

Intake
.050 = 32.4
.100 = 66.3
.150 = 102.9
.200 = 135.7
.250 = 158.9
.300 = 183.9
.350 = 205.7
.400 = 221.3
.450 = 236.9
.500 = 249.4
.550 = 261.9

Exhaust:
.050 = 26.8
.100 = 57.1
.150 = 81.5
.200 = 113.0
.250 = 141.2
.300 = 151.8
.350 = 162.5
.400 = 170.5
.450 = 175.8
.500 = 181.1
.550 = 191.7
.600 = 197.1
.650 = 202.4
.700 = 207.8

Now that I have the AFR 195's, should I install them as they sit or get some head work done on them?

Here's my cam spec.
- Duration
242-I
252-E

- Lift
525-I
540-E

- Lobe Separation
112

Thanks,

Jody J.

If the previous owner did not have them inspected around the bowl area (under the valves) do yourself a HUGE favor and have the heads looked at preferrably by someone who knows what a good ported head looks like. When Eric pulled my valves we could see right where the CNC machine stopped doing it's work. I'm not even sure exactly what I got for the money I spent on my "competition port" job. They looked untouched to me. There were flat spots and rather sharp edges in there under the valves. Sharp edges can kill the flow of air.
