Need Help - Heads question

Ok here is my problem,

I just had the heads resurfaced and valve job. So I have them back in place, but
I forgot what the tube that connects them looks like. I have one that makes a Long "L" with huge holes for bolts. But the bolts that fit that don't fit anywhere on the back of the heads?!?!

So anyway, does anyone have a pic of the tube that connects the 2 heads and a pic of the bolts that secures them to the heads?

those bolts go in the back of the heads and the tube goes across the intake

Maybe you haven't done this before and can't find the hole....put your finger back there

thanks for the reply.

I feel like a retard. Well after your post I took one the heads off to make sure I didn't miss anything. Boy did I miss something. I had put the damn heads on Backwards. Thats why the damn bolts wouldn't fit. I knew those where the parts , but I wanted to make sure. I am glad I did.

Now my next question. Is there 2 of those bolts? cause I only found 1.

That's the Steam Tube. Make sure to use the proper seals. They are 'sealwasher', which is a thin washer with a rubber seal, very similar to what is used at the a/c compressor tube block fitting. Mine had 2 seals per side, from the factory, but the book calls for one. P/N 10108689.

Thanks for the replies guys.

I did find this P/N list (Thanks to ShBox...I get so much info from this guy), but Advanced auto couldn't find the part. Does this list only work for gmpartsdirect or are these official GM part numbers?

Just wondering if anyone has an answer to my previous question about the part numbers?
