Need help guys, car won't start.

I just finished installing my motor, turned the key and nothing. I have checked and rechecked the "basics" and everything looks right. I am sure it's something simple I am overlooking so any ideas would be great. Some possibilities I'll throw out there that I'm not sure about;
Car was a 6 speed, I swapped in a turbo 400, so obviously all the plugs from the t56 aren't plugged in anymore. Could that cause the car not to start?
I had the steering column out and unplugged a lot of wires from the big cluster up there, I think everything is plugged in, are there any specific plugs that if not plugged in would cause it not to start? I swapped in a set of auto pedals, are there any switches or anything that have to do with the clutch pedal that might be the problem?
I don't have the oil level sensor plugged in (accidentaly sold it with the t56 ) could that be it?
When I turn the key there is a "click" from the engine compartment, sounds like it's from the relay box on the drivers side. Couldn't tell for sure cause I was by myself.
Anyway, feel free to shoot me some ideas. I will appreciate the help. Thanks.

I have a 94 also,I just became pretty darm intimate with the wiring too as I ripped it all out (well 85% of it).

I do have an idea and you are hiting on it yourself. The clutch switch needs to be depressed or the connector cut off and wires looped together if eliminated to start car.

To help you find the wires associated with the clutch switch. It is a 2 wire plug.You would have just unplugged I presume removing pedal assembly. The plug attached to a rectangular push button type switch behind clutch pedal.
Anyway the wires are(should be) about 12guage size a yellow wire and a brown wire. The plug/connector on the end should be blue.
If you find that wire try looping/connecting the 2 wire together. And try starting.
