My friend is looking at a 94 z28 camaro auto with t tops. The car has 140,000 miles but new motor and tranny only have 40,000 miles. The motor is a rebuilt to stock bottom end with comp 306 cam, 1.6 cane gold roller rockers, comp springs, ported and polished intake and heads, 2800 tci stall, and tuned. Its a stock 3.23 car. Also has flp long tubes with no cats to flowmasters. I rode in it on the test drive and it feels very fast. He SAYS that he beat a 03 cobra but not by much. He is selling it for $5500. I know this is a good deal but do you think that it is is fast as he says? He said it probably is a 12.30-12.50 car is that possible with traction?? thanks

 

with ported heads and a c06 cam, he should be SMOKING 03 cobras. That setup is good for low 12's on motor.
