Ok Check this out. I gotta 94 LT1 rebuilt to 355 Forge pistons Stock crank Rods all that good stuff. I have Jet Hot long Tubes as well. I have been having this Horrible Leak coming from the Passenger side of the motor. And I can not find it for the life of me. Heres some of the things I noticed. My oil Dip Stick TUBe was bent. I install a new one. Got it down in there real good. And still leaking.
I tighten up my oil pan gasket. (FELRO) NO problems there. My rear main seal. Has been check. NO leaking there. Swap out valve cover gasket Brand new one. No leaks there. SO maybe you guys can shed some light on this. I have done all these things and it still leaks. I hate it. It leaks on my header and it starts smoking like theres no tommorrow. Please help. The only other thing that I can think of is my head bolts. But they have been retorqued. Dont think oil can leak there. Its not running hot at all right at 180' Please help

I am sorry to say but I believe you have the INFAMOUS LT-1 INTAKE GASKET LEAK....seems like you described the right area...can you check behind the engine on the passenger side to see if there is any oil there???? CHeck out a search on INTAKE GASKET LEAK and see what you find...I bet you thats what is leaking...

By the way...this is normal on almost every LT-1...
