Need help fast(regards rockers and studs)

Ok guys im getting ready to call Combinatiom Motorsports and im going to order my cam and such. I have a couple of questions though. Do i need the non self aligning or self aligning rockers and what size studs would be best?

*EDIT* What type of springs should i use? The heads are going to be ported so machinging the heads wont be a problem

some help

First....as far as if you need self alligning or non is up to you, you can spin non self alligning up a little more in regards to RPM so i personally would go with them, the difference being that you need to also buy valve guides, and i personally would go with 7/16" studs, they ARE stronger than the stock. Just tell the place your ordering from to set you up with a combo of a cam and springs...they will tell you what you need in regards to springs depending on what cam you go with. Order non self alligning Pro Magnum rockers, 7/16 studs (but make sure the part that screws into the heads is the stock size but will have 7/16" size that the rockers screw into), valve guides, valve seals(easy to do since your in there anyway), and that should be about it...along with your cam/spring combo, hope that helps
email me if any questions

Not to discourage you, but that's the same cam I have in my car right now except mine is the TN-233XR with same specs except 111 lsa. I have a post on right now about getting my idle fixed.

Don't forget the pushrod guide plates for those NON self aligning RR's.. I don't see those on that list..
There's a GM p/n that works well for the LT1..
GM p/n 14011051

HA HA i knew you would find out eventually man it was all just a matter of time.....

Anyways this will be our little secret. Only a select few know about it lIke Garrett knows i think and a few others just keep it secret im gonna spring it on a few un knowing guys on fast rides. I just wanted them to find out the hard way instead of them KNOWING what they were running against. Ill give ya the low down though.

Its a 95 4 bolt main block getting refreshed with new bearings and seals.

I just ordered the 233/239 cam
Dual coil Comp valve springs
Titanium retainers
1.6 magnum rockers
comp r lifters
seals
seats
locks
Hardened pushrods

I have a meizere electric Water pump with the cloyes true double roller timing chain. The heads will be sent up to a guy in Bloomington tog et reworked for a 3 angle valve job with 2.00/1.6 ferrara racing valves and getting it ported to match the cam. The intake will be ported to match tha heads as well.

Im going to berunning 1 5/8 primary shorties and o yea dont say Long tubes will be better because i know they would be but no one sells decent long tubes for my truck.

The rear will be equipped with 3.73 Richmond gears and a Auburn posi unit since SLP doesnt sell the Zexels anymore And a Torco 2800 Stall will be in the newly rebuilt tranny.

But remember this is our little secret ok buddy? Everyone will know soon enough but they will have to find out the hard way.

Goes under the knife next monday and i hope to have it done by the Lake show and shine.
