Are the engine wiring harnesses switchable between a 95 obd1 can and a 96 obd2 car. I have the 96 and it seems the wiring for the fans are going through the same harness as the lights and other front end objects. Grease said his just went straight to the fans from the computer. We are swapping trans and we need to know if these are switchable because he said his took an 1/2 hour to come out and mine is only half out and it has been an 1 and a half. PLEASE HELP ASAP!!!!!!!!

 

I don't think so obd2 has more sensors and wires.

 

thanks, it looks like there is to many more sensors and plus the obd2 runs off the crank sensor and obd1 does not, so in turn, grease would have to add a timing cover with the crank sensor provision, am I correct??? Thanks for the help to anyone that helps me out on this!!!
