Need help fast!! custom length wires!!!

Need help fast!! custom length wires!!!

I'm trying to install a set of taylor custom OVC wires, and I can't get the damn boot onto the wire, I know lots of you guys have them, let me in on the secret you guys used! help!! I need to get this done tonight! thanks!

Just use some silicone grease....

We have tried every lube I have, nothing seems to be working... any other tips? But I wil try the silicone grease, thanks guys.

Sometime diletric and silicone grease is still hard...get some teflon powder and put it on the wires, they'll go right on.

teflon powder? where would I get some of that? I did go get some silicone grease and it really didn't do much. I'm really at the end of my wits here with these things!

did you crimp the connectors on first?

are you trying to install the opti boots or the plug end?

its the opti boots, the plug end was already on there. I havent crimped the connecter on there yet, should I?

YES! then with a twisting and pushing motion they should slide right in there with silicone spray.

Cool

I use GoJo hand cleaner You need to crimp the wire before putting it in the boot. Twist and push and it should slide right in
