need help fast?????

I just up graded to 3.73 gears this weekend and i was driving home to day and all of the sudden my car started to smoke real bad so i pulled over and my rearend was leaking oil all over the place....what could have happend??? is it the shops fault??? please help......

you probably just roasted your pinion seal. Right after i put 3.73's in i had to replace the pinion seal. It happens. But it could also be the pan gasket. THey should fix it for free

Definitely sounds like the shop's fault; fluid got on your exhaust and caused the "smoke show"!

Could it have any thing to do with my torque arm not being set at -2 degres???

Torque arm setting wouldn't cause a leak; it will cause premature U-joint wear.

The shop could also have over-filled it and it blew out the vent on the top. Have the shop check it out.

should i have my car towed to the shop and if i do shouldnt they pay for it??
