Need help completing shopping list!!!

Ok, I'm trying to get my parts list all completed and decked out here so I can go ahead and start purchasing things. Wanted to know what I will need in the way of secondary parts, meaning gaskets, special bolts, hoses, wires, anything like that, that you guys can think of that I will need or will want to do, let me know.

Headers:
Coated Hooker Longtubes
ARP Stage 8 Locking Header Bolts
Header Gaskets(Felpro or what?)

Cam:
XE 230/236
1.6 Roller Rockers(SA or Non-SA? Pros/Cons of each?)
Pushrods(Which?)
Cloyes Double Roller Timing Chain
Meziere Electric Water Pump

Heads:
Heads Ported/Cleaned by Lloyd(Two thumbs up for lloyd and all the help he's given me thusfar )
Ferrea 2.00/1.56 Valves
Comp 987 Springs
Retainers
Locks
Locators
Seals

That's what I have so far, how's that look? Anything else any of you guys would include or substitute? Also, what do I need in the way of gaskets for the install? Is there a kit containing all of the necessary gaskets I will need? Also, any suggestions for spark plugs and wires? Should I go with an over-the-valve-cover setup with that?

If you're doing Hooker Longtubes I suggest going Jet-Hot longtubes since they are an improved upon Hooker design plus over $100 less as there is a GP going on until June 21s on the Jet-Hots for $493 shipped. Got mine today and they look awesome. Cant wait to get them on. They come with gastkets and bolts but I opted for the ARP header bolts and bought those too. You'll need o2 sims/extensions with the headers. Hooker doesnt have the option to keep emissions equipment plus I dont believe they have the o2 bungs welded into their headers like Jet-Hot has.

i would get the hookers over the jet hots. im not too fond of the jet hot coating.
i recommend the Accel 300+race wire or Extreme 9000's for wires and NGK for spark plugs

also, Mr Gasket ultra seal header gaskets are the best i have tried so far. ive had leaks with the hooker ones and felpros. hope this helps.

good choice on the cam (though im a little partial to it )

If you've got an extra $250, I'd add a hydra-rev kit while you're in there. Might want to consider doing the opti while you're down there. If you've got an LT1 and an extra $600, you might go with the LTCC Opti eliminator... NGK plugs and taylor wires are good.

Go with copper gaskets, trust me you will be thanking me when you dont have a leak!

Make sure you get a relay, and hook up a few lights to make sure you know if you lose power or ground. They have saved my *** twice so far

sounds like a good setup on the heads. I dont have Lloyds heads myself, but I actually spoke to him when I picked mine out.

[/B] Have you decided on what your going to go with as far as internals yet? You might want to figure that out as well. I also agree with a HydraRev kit, I love mine, and it is good insurance.

Good luck

Sounds like a good idea since I've gotten two votes for Coppers. I'll go ahead nd add those to the list instead. I'm thanking you already

This is for the Electric Pump I'm assuming?

What exactly does the rev kit consist of? Where can I pick one up? And also, what would you think I'd be able to rev safely too with one?
As far as internals...Should I be looking to replace pistons, rods, and crank with 400rwhp? Or is one more prone to failure than another at this power level? Also, what is the install like on pistons/rods/crank? Something I can do myself?

Well if you have the engine out of the car, you should at least change out the pistons for some forged ones. If you have the budget, good rods and rod bolts. At that power level, the crank is probably fine. If you really want to be bullit-poof, add an eagle crank for $650 and some good bearings. If you want to push it past 600hp, consider 4-bolt splayed mains. The LT1 oil pumps are pretty damn good, but the hv mellings aren't very expensive...
