My car has been throwing a ses light with a code 28. And my hayne's manual says trans. range circuit, but I have no idea what that is?

"Transmission range pressure switch" is what the code is for. It is inside the trans on the valve body. There could be a problem with the switch, wiring, connector on the side of the trans...

Diagnostics are hard to do on this one without the aide of the Tech II scanner like the dealer uses.
