Need help asap on which pistons to buy

Ok my machine shop is telling me I need full round skirts when I order my .030 pistons for my 94 LT1 TA. I called summit and jegs and they both say they have pistons for my car but cant say if their round skirts or if they in fact will work in a late model LT1. I need help quick Im going on vacation and need to order before I go.

Look up Probe Industries.Call them and they can fix you up.A FULL skirt piston design went out with high button shoes. You can't clear the crank ballance weights with them on today's engines.

Machinist said the stock pistons in it now have full round skirts... So get the same. But if i can get by with just regular pistons using the sizes I need I'll do that. Has anybody just done a rebuid .030 who can tell me what pistons they used?

Yea Probe pistons for a late LT-1.your machinest is talking about the circle demension of the skirt,I thought he was talking the very bottom of the skirt. Some are shaped oblong not round.A standard SBC piston will be shaped like yours, just dont get a racing piston is what he was saying.

Ok so if I call summit and order pistons for a 94 LT1 4.030, stroke 3.480, 5.7 rod, with the compression I want they will work? Just a standard 350 piston .030? Want to make sure I order right ones so I can get my block back quicker to put together.
