Need help ASAP

Does anyone have a good illustration of how the high beam dimmer switch is connected to the rod in the steering column that actually moves the switch? The rod is not connected to the turn signal switch, and I NEED operational high beams to pass inspection. The service manual has jack in a way of a pic. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

ok there should be a little pice of plastic to pull off on the steering column right behind the turn signal on that pice inside rides another plastic piece with kinda of a half circle shape on it that slides back and forth it mates withthe rod and it attaches to the plastic piece on the column that is the best i could do to explain it

Ah HA!!! That's it then. I'm missing that plastic piece. And here I'm trying to connect the rod to the switch. Jeez, you would think that a service manual would be a little better picture wise at least.

I REALLY need that part. I'm heading out to the local parts center, but please check on it and I'll look for an email from ya. I'm dying to get this car running properly, but can't without that one little freakin part. Let me know.

Thanks predator.

Awesome. I just got back from the parts center, and they want like 14 bucks for it. I put it on order just in case you didn't have one. Just let me know. Thanks!
