Need help for an answer

Ok i've been told that my car runs strong, but for some reason i think there is something wrong with it.
My times at the track are 14.1 @ 100 mph with 2.4 60 foot. However my times can go up to 14.6 (i think cause that's my 8th run in a row)

But the problem i have is at the end of the track the car feels very fast after i finish the 1/4 and then touch the gas again. I've also notice that on the highway if i leave it high reving in a gear for a couple seconds then gas it the car goes like anything, but if i down shift then hit it, it doesn't feel as fast as when i wait a couple seconds in that gear. could it be the fuel pump??

I've done plugs, wires, fuel filter, coil.

It's a 95 with 55,000 miles on it

I don't know man.......those are some realistic decent times for your car....
As far a the feel - I believe it's just a seat of the pants feel.......if you watch your speedo, you'll probably acheive a high speed if you shift into the next gear rather than hold the RPM's high.

If you had a good 60 ft time you'd be knocking down 13.80s...thats pretty impressive...Could be the pump...but I don't know why after a couple seconds in the gear it would decide to pump fuel a little better???

Yes i know my 60 ft suck. my next mod should be driving lessons

My car has a cat back, lca, eibach pro kit.

I heard that LT1's run very bad when they are hot, that would explain my times going down after 6 straight runs right?
