my abs light came on after a mechanic did a tune up weird but how do i get that off and my service engine light like comes on when i am idleing its weird it hesitates then when i drive it goes away any one no how to fix these problems

Its pretty much impossible to accurately answer your question without knowing the year of the car. Not all LT1's are the same. If its a 93, you can flash the codes on the SES light. If its a 96/97 you can get it scanned at AutoZone, as mentioned above. If its a 94, they won't be able to scan it because most of them don't have an OBD-I scanner. If its a 95, they'll be totally confused because they'll see the OBD-II style ALDL connector, and when they hook up their OBD-II scanner it won't connect, because the 95 is OBD-I.

Add a "signature" with basic info about your car like year, model, engine tranny, and any major mods. That way people can help you and give you more accurate answers.

 

i had a gm dealership do a tune up to my car once and the abs light was on afterwards. they wire tied my wires to the front brake lines. once i moved them i had no problems. hope it helps

 

Most mechanics should not work on Fbody's. Everytime I have taken mine somewhere they have ROYALY screwed something up!!!
