hey all.. i havent posted in a while... here is the problem in havin... its not wit my z28.. its with my volvo.. jus installed the painless harness.. everything is workin fine, im gettin fuel, gettin spark. i checked all circuits. everything that is suppose to get power is gettin it... now here is what is not connected right now... i dont have the air pump hooked up, the MAF isnt installed. i only have the purge canister hooked to the purge valve and nothin else... i dont know where to hook the other 2 hoses, the o2 sensors arent connected, and none of the tranny stuff is hooked up... would these unconnected things be causin my car not to start??? and is the LT1 motor able to run on just 6 cylinders??

 

when I installed my cai kit I left the maf sensor connected electrically but didn't put the pipes to it. My car wouldn't start and I hooked it up and it ran perfect. an lt1 should run on 6 cylinders, I've never tried it but I did see a v6 run on 2 before, I couldn't believe it. anyways, hook up everything your maf sensor, and all of that other crap and see if it runs
