Is that my lifter ticking?

OK so I'm still trying to find where my miss is coming from. (new injectors, plugs, wires, opti, etc...) As the miss got worse I started noticing a loud tick on startup, but only if the car's been sitting a while. I figured maybe a rocker arm or 2 weren't adjusted right so i poped the covers and the #6 exhaust was loose to the point that I could wiggle the RA side to side. I figured that was my problem and reset zero lash on that cylinder. Came back a few minutes later and it's loose again, but the intake RA is fine. So does it sound to yall like a lifter is going or should i be looking at something else? BTW the dealer did tell me that my #6 is the missing cylinder. If so what ia a good replacement lifter for someone low on cash. Thanks guys sorry so long.

It sounds quite possible that the lifter is bad and not fully opening the vavle. Also on start up after a while it might be taking its time to fully "pump up". In most cases the stock lifters are plenty efficient. Many people even use them on mild aftermarket cames with higher lift. I would pick up a new set of stock lifters, or if your really really on a budget, you might be able to find a low mileage used set, or maybe even someone on here will sell you one or two really cheap.

Thanks Aaron. I found these on Summits site for $187.88. Does anybody know if these are an OK replacement for OE lifters or if they'll even work on an LT1.
