Need to fix my OIL leak - Got advice

My LT1 leaks about a palm print worth of oil on my driveway after it sits for about 2 hours after im done driving. From what i hear the most common place for the leak is the classic LT1 Intake leak, although it may be coming from front or rear main seals. I was wondering if you guys could give me some kind of advice on how to find where the oil was leaking from (probably the intake) and if it is the intake how to fix it. THanks again.

To fix the intake leak follow the tutorial on www.projecttransam.com under the tech articles. Make sure you bend the EGR pipe away from the intake manifold area because the heat from that is what actually causes the leak. Good luck

You can check to see if it's the intake leak by reaching around the rear of the intake manifold on the passenger side and feeling for oil. The Project TransAm link is a good spot--I read all of those articles on the fix before I did mine so as to avoid encountering any suprises.

If you've determined that its not an intake manifold leak, pull off the y-pipe, starter and trans cover. You should be able to get a look at the rear main seal. If there's oil on the seal I'd say thats the culprit. If the oil pan gasket is wet and the rear main seal isn't then I'd suspect the oil pan gasket..

Just fixed my oil pan gasket a few weeks ago. So far no leaks
