Need to fab O2 extentions, what cars can I get the harness from at junkyard?

Hey guys.

Nobody locally has O2 extentions for an lt1 (95), and I need to fab some. I have a parts '94 car, but, I already used its O2 sensors and wiring to fab up something similar on another car.

Anyhow, if I make a trip to local Pick Your Part, I need to find a car with a 4 wire 02 sensor setup and cut off the harness and 02 leads and solder up some nice extentions.

However, my local pick your part does not have too many late model cars, but i'm sure it has tons of Sunflower and Cavahoes out there, so I might be able to find something.

Does anyone know when/if GM started using 4 wire 02s on other cars (other then lt1)?

Anyone have good luck with fabbing O2 extentions?

Thanks a lot guys,

Igor.

The AFS75 O2 was used on most GM V6s and V8s from 93-97, so any of those should have a compatible connector. There are probably others, too.

Don't fab your own extensions--I thought it'd save me money but I kept throwing O2 codes no matter how well the butt connectors were crimped. You'll spend $60 or less for two extensions...worth the security IMO.

well I gotta try so I can get this thing running. I would not use but connectors though. I fabricate wiring at work all the time, so I have tools/skill for this.

I'll try to either fab my own or buy some.

See if I can get those o2 harnesses from PYP in the next day or two from 93-97 cars.

Thanks,

Igor.
