I'm looking into buyin a cam with this description: 235/242 114LSA .568/.592 hydraulic roller. What would u guys recomend i buy to go with it. I'm gettin it with some tuning so that aint a big problem. What do u guys think about this cam? How much HP should i expect with Edelbrock headers, a flowmaster exhaust, cut-out, CAI. I would also think about gettin my heads proted to go with it also. Let me know. Thanks in advance.

Your definetly going to need ported and polished heads with a cam that big.

 

springs.... With a lift that big, I wouldn't be suprised if the cam manufacturer recommends stiffer springs to prevent valve float.

 

search for the GM 847 cam,

its almost the same cam and theres lots of people running it... like me!!!!!

Do you know the gm part number??? also so im gonna need RR, stiff springs, some port and polishing, anything else? Can i tune it to where i dont need to p&p my heads?? The guy selling it says he has a tune for it like that.
