This is some good info. I'm gonna freeze mine now. I lubed it up with 10w-30 and got it all the way to about 1/4"-3/8" left and it won't move. I"m gonna remove the paint and freeze it. Thanks y'all.

After getting mine out which was hard as hell I sanded down the tube, now it glides back in the hole.
The problem now is I have a slight oil leak at very high RPM's. I am going to remove it again, clean the area and RTV the ridge where it contacts the block.
You guys might want to consider this rather than have to go back in a second time which I am not looking forward to.
I did not know about the freezer trick but it makes sense to me to try that before modding the tube.
