Need Advice on these heads

A local Guy selling a set of lt1 heads they are supposed to max flow@ 242 cfm on the intake and 183 on the exhaust at .550 lift @28"H2O

can anyone tell me how good these are how they stack up to other ported heads?

And with these heads all the boltons and a Gm847 cam what horsepower should I expect?

Thanks

It's either a poor port job or just mild clean up and bowl work. The LE1s I had flowed 268 and 197 @ .600

I wouldn't jump in so quickly and say it's a poor port job. You can't necesarily compare from flow bench to flow bench, and we don't even know what kind of bench these heads were tested on. I tested my set of heads on the flow bench at the machine shop (superflow SF600) and they flowed 243 @.500 and .600, and 180 @.600. I was a little disappointed, but the owner said that his bench is quite stingy, and later on I learned that my heads flowed better than a set done by a shop named Killian's Porting Service. Now I'm no Lloyd Elliot here, and I don't claim to be, all I'm saying is that those could still be a decent set of heads, we just need more information.

so can these heads still flow good ? I can get them for a reasonable price , but I do not want to pay for cleaned up stock heads
