Back to the subject at hand, I thought the 3.75 crank didn't need clearancing, but it was the 3.85 that did??? Am I losing it here or what?

Both stroker cranks need clearancing to fit. the 3.875 needs a lil more.

neither does

you need the clearance for the rods- not the crank. and some rods dont even need to be cleared

just a technicality
