hey lt1 guys, just bought a 94 camaro with a 3.4 with a cracked block for $800.00. i have a sbc 400 and a 5-speed in my 88 camaro. iwould like to install it in the 94.i know i need a k-member and some more stuff. can you install the lt1 heads and intake,opti,and accessories on a sbc 400. or just install the motor with a carb on it. any and all help i need bad. thanks roger.

 

Nope LT1 stuff ALL OF IT doesn't work on the 400. You gotta run it with a carb on it.

I would not recommend runnin the 5 speed on a 400 sbc either.. wont last long.

 

Or you could build a nice 396 stroker motor and put it in there. Buy an LT1 block. I'll see you my stock heads with 60k for $200 lol.
