Well first off, stock LT1's have 1.5 rockers. If you want performance you should go with 1.6 roller rocker. Pro Mags seems to be very popular. If you go with Self Aligning rocker (SA), it will be easier but generally wont handle tons of power. NSA (Non self aligning) rockers are stronger and require you to buy retainers, locks, and guideplates. So depending on how much power you want in the future will decide if you want SA or NSA. Hope this helps

also while your doing it should upgrade to 7/16" studs- theyre cheap and screw right into stock heads- just make sure you get 7/16 rockers- (same price as regular)

www.summitracing.com then search promagnum rockers .....and like others have mentioned, pick up a set of (16) ARP 7/16 studs (about 30 bucks) while your at it, they're much stronger and flex way less than the wimpy 3/8 studs and rocker set-up.......

I have also heard of people using the crane gold's as well. they are a product that I would buy. Not to steal the thread, but has someone checked out the Jegs roller rockers? they seem waayy too similar to another big name brand and are quite a bit cheaper.
