Jsut a suggestion to the originator of this thread ... When was the last time you cleaned the Air Filter ( If its a reusable ) Check that out too ... Also, it could be a injector on its last leg not spraying a uniform cone of fuel, more of a slight retarded drip... Fuel Injection can be wonders 99% of the time, but when it aint working GOD is it a bitch ...

Why are you guys advicing this man to buy a throttle cable??

I fixed mine and it only cost me .85 cents... yes only .85 cents.

I fixed mine yesterday. Go to HomeDepot and buy part number 55134 its a 3/32 aluminum part/s called Cable Ferrule and stop set. Brand name is IronMan.

It comes with four pieces. youll see... get one with only one opening from the package.... use a mini Hack ,,, and just cut a grove in the alumimun part (lenght wise) to the center opening... spread it with a small flat screwdriver so that you can get the accelerator cable past it... then remove the cover under the driver side to expose the Gas pedal linkage... next open the hood and remove the plastic that covers the linkage right next to the Throttle places... open up the plates and remove the gas pedal cable.... go back to drivers side and pull the cable and insert your new part in between the pedal and the cable stop... right next to the stop... crimp it with a pair of pliers.. and presto..

The aluminun part has the perfect inside and outside diameter plus has the perfect length... the Gas pedal has a plastic part that seats agains the cable stop and this par fits inside as if it was custom made... right out of the factory look and feel.

Put everything back together and go for a ride... you wont be disapointed.

now about the delay... I dunno if it will fix it but theres no question about having your butterflys fully open during wot...

Cause every little bit counts....
