Is it my starter, PCM, or Ignition cyl???
I stopped at the bank today, got out for 5 min's, got back in and it wouldn't start. When I turned the key to start, the Voltage gauge slightly moved like it's under a load and sending power to the starter, but nothing happens. I let it sit for about 5 more min's and tried it again, and it started right up. Now I'm trying to figure out what I should change, the starter, the Ignition cyl. Could the little sensor on the key have somthing to do with it. Any info would be great!!
Thanks Ya'll!!!

Oh and I almost forgot!!! The Security light was on the whole time I was trying to start it. It's been comming on while I'm driving as well. Could my key be the problem? I have a 2nd key. should I use that?

scary, mine did the same thing at the bank. all I did was wiggle the "positive" on th ebattery and it started right up.
found out my battery threads are jacked and probably not getting a good connection.
new optima here I come!

My car did the exact same thing. It was the ignition cylinder, it wouldn't read the resistor in the key right, so the security light would go on and it wouldn't start for 3 minutes. I had to go buy a new ignition cylinder and 2 new keys. I think it cost me around $120. I would try the second key first before swaping out the cylinders first though.
