My ram air box is broken...tips on repairing it?

Just wondering what you think would be the best way to fix my SS ram air box. Seems the bottom of the mounts that screw into the intake manifold have cracked and some of it has crumbled off. Is there any sort of plastic repair that I can do, or even epoxy? I'll get some pictures later today when I get off work to better show what I am talking about.

Right now I have the K&N CAI but honestly would rather have the SS ram air box. Also, does anyone have a "Z28 SS" marked airlid because somebody stole mine a couple of years ago and now I just have the regular "Camaro SS" marked airlid.

Not quite sure, but what if you embeded the base in some clay and poured some fiber glass resin into the indents, about half inch or so, and then drilled the glass for your bolts--which would have to be 1/2 inch longer along with some washers?

Only thing I can think of for the moment.

Didn't know they had a "Z28 SS" air lid....the SLP SS came with "Camaro SS" embossed on the top.

In the early production of the 1996s, they came with a "Z28 SS" marked lid. I used to have one but somebody broke into my car and stole both my numbered dash plaque and airlid. I've been trying so hard to find a replacement, but stuff is becoming harder and harder to find.

My "former" mechanic lost one of my lid clips and I didn't know I could pick some up from the local dealer, so I ordered them from SLP---they screwed up the order and sent me 2 lids instead "Camao SS" for the price of the clips.

So then I went to the dealer and picked up the clips for a couple bucks.

Now that doesn't happen that often---where I wasn't the one who got screwed.
