My A.R.E. installed 3:73s are getting louder
I replaced my old 2:73s with the Richmond 3:73s and also replaced bearings and when I picked up the car at Agostinos, it was very quiet compared to before but I DID have worn out bearings before.
Now it seems like the gears got a lot louder in the 2 weeks since I picked the car up. It's a different sound than before and is more of a whine that changes tone when applying throttle or letting go the gas. I know that a bit of noise is normal but what if this got a lot louder in a few weeks?!
The guys at the garage told me they had all the best tools for adjusting backlash and that this shouldn't be the problem.
I'm just afraid that they'll just charge me major $$$ again even though there's a possibility that they misadjusted something to begin with.
What should I do? Any ideas?
Thanks
