Height should be pretty close, but its always good to check pushrod lenght.

These are better quality lifters than orginal lt1 OE, some have compared them to the Morel's but these are half the cost.

I'de go with the Mr gasket or impala gaskets for more compression, and the ASP pulley instead of the POS march pulley, the ASP replaces the crank hub it's not a piggy back. And also a dyno tune would be better than a mail order.

cost 80 vs 300 on the pulley. And we always dyno tune , but for starters mail order tune gets pretty close. The heads are milled enough to get the better compression, and the short blocks are set up for correct quench, with a .040 gasket.

The stock shortblocks are not. And you'd be better off not running an u/d pulley at all if you're going to run those piggyback junk pullies.

I paid $150-180 for mine, not 300. And a .040 gasket will give you a 10.8 c/r with a 54cc chamber, IRCC the LE2's are a 56 cc chamber.

As was mentioned, go with the ASP U/D pulley or don't bother with that mod.

I wasn't talking about a stock short block with a .040 gasket. My 383 is 0 decked with a .040 compression on a 53cc head comes out to be 12.9. Little race gas needed, now.

For stock bottomends, we run a Mr. gasket, or gm impalla gaskets to up the compression a little.

Why are you guys give me advice how to build a LE2 setup?? The last two setups dynoed
415rwhp 383rwtq
Le1 heads, le2 cam, 355, unported intake

417rwhp 394rwtq
LE2 heads, B-rad v1 cam, stock bottomend, unported intake as well

I wasn't looking for advice, i was offering it the the guy that started the thread.

And i know the pulleys are junk, but thats what the customer wants.
