My Jet Hot Ypipe just arrived for my LT's. (Pics. inside.)

After nearly a month of waiting, my Jet Hot Ypipe has finally arrived. Yeah !!! Actually, it's a hooker ypipe with Jet Hot's coating but everyone calls the Jet Hot's Y pipe. Once again, another amazing quality piece from Jet Hot. Every bit *** good looking as the Long Tubes. I couldn't be happier. I also ordered a set of copper header and collector gaskets the other day aswell.
That about does it for my exhaust. All I need to do now is install it. Hopefully some time before the first of April 'cause that's when I plan to bring the car out.

Odd's are I'll probably sell the coated Edelbrock headers and y-pipe since I won't be needing them anymore. They're in pretty much mint condition.

Wow, everything looks really good and high quality. I hope everything fits together well under the car.

I passed my last emissions test with flying colours.. Despite the fact that my Hot Cam was "for off road use only". That, and the fact that my car was running really rich, didn't stop me from passing emissions.
When I ordered my Long tubes, I made sure to order them with provisions for EGR. There's no reason why the car shouldn't be able to pass. Granted, when the time comes that I have to do my emissions again, this October, I'll have to have a custom ypipe created for me - one that has provisions for a pair of cats. (A new exhaust shop just opened right across the street from me and they should be able to handle it without problems)

As far as the visual inspection, the place I go to, the guy couldn't care less about whether or not the car is modified or where the cat's are located on the car. As long as you pass... you pass.

Then again, my next test will be my first with the ported/polished heads and larger valves. We'll see what happens.

Buddy of mine has a JetHot y-pipe with a cat. No problems at all.

The headers are 1 3/4" Jet Hot LT's. I better not say where I got them because it wasn't one of our "supporting advertisers". I don't want to get banned or something.

My ypipe on the other hand was ordered from one of our Advertisers- MASC I got a really good deal and best of all Bret (the guys I spoke to) is a VERY nice guy. He always ansered all my questions and was very helpful. Just email him and tell him what you want.

Emissions suck, i have a pair of lt's sitting in my room waiting to go on. I am going to get the car tested with stock manifolds y-pipe before i put them on. I really dont want to run cats though.

I have heard some stories of the cops sittin out infront of cayuga checkin the cars that roll in for cats, and doin on the spot tests. The fine is like $1500 and emissions every 6 months if you get caught with no cats. Same deal at wasaga in the summer, cops bein dicks and giving out tickets for any minor thing they can think of.

I guess ill just stick some high flow cats in my h-pipe just to be safe.
