my issue

I have a 1995 z28 one day I driving and noticed I needed some gas so I got some (premium only) I stopped at a mobile gas station and got some and for some reason about two hours later the was driving like it was low on gas you know like sputtering especially when i would really hit the gas. it like it wanted to bogg out or cutt off. anyway I took the car home and didin't drive for a few days. When I finally did drive I got some were and the car wouldnt start. I took it to a shop they ran a test and said I needed a tune up they did one (so i think) the car is runnig but running like **** and doing the same thing sorry it so long

any help

How many miles are on the car, what is done to it if anything? Could be something as simple as needing to replace your fuel filter (if they didn't already with your "tune up"), to maybe replacing your fuel pump, or maybe the optispark. We need any and all information for your car to try to help you out here.

I'd suspect fuel pump.

Its kind of hard to give you specific info as it can be a number of problems related to different systems. Is the check engine light on? Did your mechanic test the fuel pressure, or he just jumped to doing a tuneup? What was done with the tuneup?

my issue 2

The car has 97,000 miles on it. The mechanic said he checked the pressure who knows if he did or not. But anyway he called me back and said i needed a fuel pump. I said well did you change the filter he said know that is wasnt part of the tune up which was bs and another story. so he finally changes the filter and says the car is running. now to my knowlege the fiuel pump either works or it doesn't. I think theses guys did a hack job on my car and i have repeatedly apologized to my beloved camaro for sending it to those butchers. anyway the car is completely stock except for a flowmaster I forgot to mention when frst start it up it runs for min then cuts off but the next time it starts right up and keeps running. I also had an exhust leak that you could smell but not hear but now you can hear it . but at some points while driving I m able to accelerate pretty fast as long as its gradual but i cant stomp the gas or it boggs. I really appreciate you guys help

I'd check out the fuel pressure first

If the car is running, you could always get a second opinion from another shop. I have seen plenty of cases where people have replaced fuel pumps and it turned out to be a clogged filter or bad relay.
