Bes- Sounds like a good deal! How much do ferrara 2.00/1.60 valves run??

Also, Bes - Bunker wants to know what the flow sheet says at the .100, .200, and .300 ranges????

I am sure he already has his hands full and making good money now. I doubt he could handle the extra business seeing as he does everything himself by hand. Word of mouth seems to be doing well for him. :-)

He take the heads to a machine shop after the P&P. I thought that he did it all from start to finish.

No he takes them to a shop...either way it's the best pricing for the best work IMO...and in the opinions of practically everyone else on here...

A good porter concentrates his efforts on porting, he does that & he's good at it, if he was to do valve jobs I don't think he'd be as good at what he does right now, he does tell the shop what kind of back cut he wants on the valves, how many angles, he blends the last angle with the rest of the board etc...

Matt.

he has a guy named trevor do the valve job. then he gets them back to port and polish and blend the bowls to the valve job. well mine will go to him this weekend.

and the valve job he gets done is incredible. thus the good low lift numbers.

by the way those are good numbers. i would be very pleased.

From what I learned from talking to Lloyd is that maybe he hasnt learned something new, but what he said was that each head is different. The casting will not turn out exactly the same time after time for the 30000 sets of heads they made. Some will have more meat and thus have more room to be ported, hence some having higher CFM than others, but truly dont even worry about the max CFM at .600" lift, thats just the bragging right, put it on a bench that tests swirl and velocity and then you will truly see how good of a porter Lloyd is, which Im sure is extremely good since people are making some gooood numbers with his heads.

After talking to Nutek, I mentioned that I would be running LE ported stock casting heads and he knew exactly who I was talking about and he told me that Llloyds heads outflow and outperform most of the Stage 2 or 3 heads they get from GTP before being ported. So Lloyd does dome awesome work guys, and for the $$ you just cant beat him.

By they way, what all did the $1200 include, just curious because Ill be sending mine off to him shortly.
