I went to fire the car this mornin after the cam swap...
CRACK SNAP was the noises i heard...
Turns out those jegs bs rockers wherent self aligning... bent about 3-4 pushrods.
So hadda run to ramchargers thank god my mom was in a good mood... grabbed some self aligning roller rockers and new pushrods courtesy of my mother...
Slapped it all in... got her runnin...
All I can say is wow...
Im still being pretty nice to her to allow for break in and such... but i dusted a 96ish vette with 3/4 throttle from a roll.... runs beautifully, rockers are making a slight amount of noise... but nothing that warrents concern I dont believe....
I may re-adjust them tomorrow.
All I can say is... I LOVE the cc305... and all the other crap i did at the same time... REALLY woke the car up
Top end pulls really hard... its great...
I havnt felt this sense of accomplishment in a while...

How much did all the parts cost for a whole cam job? Just out of curiousity. I've been considering it lately.

misc gaskets 50 bucks
fluids 50 bucks
what else am i forgetting... i know their was more to it than that.... lol
