My Eagle H-Beams aren't clearing wind trey
Re: My Eagle H-Beams aren't clearing wind trey
alright, i need to get this sh*t figured out today, putting the engine back in tonight. i really don't want to notch the stock pan unless i HAVE to...i'd rather get one that will work. cuz if it notch it, it kinda defeats the purpose..
i need some part #'s for these trey's that will work..i've been calling all over and all speed shops locally say they don't have anything...
any moroso or canton or whoever part #'s? that way they can just order one if they are a dealer of the manufacturer.
thanks again for any help!

All you have to do is dimple the stock windage tray. You probably only need less than 1/4". I have seen quite a few Eagle rods hit on an LT1 windage tray. Carefully turn the engine over until it touches... mark the tray, remove the tray & dimple it with the back of a ball peen hammer. Only takes a few minutes & will clear the pan if done carefully.
