My car thinks i have a door/trunk open..but i dont

I was doing some work on my car (brakes, oil) and then when i was done i reset my computer to try to get rid of a fuel pump code i had a while back. Then later when i reconnected the battery i went to drive and my interior lights would not turn off. I checked to make sure that all my doors and trunk were closed and there was nothing in the way. I also checked to make sure that the **** on the dash was in the right place. My factory alarm will not beep anymore either but the keyless entry and trunk buttons all work and will lock and unlock the doors.

Has anyone ever had anything like this happen? I have no idea what to do... tomorow im just going to try reseting the computer again unless you guys can give me some suggestions. Thanks

I've had this before, it turned out that my door switch wasnt getting a good ground any more. I'd take your driver's side door switch apart and give it a good cleaning. Then when you reinstall it, put down some di-electric grease, so it makes a good connection.

Don't know about the dielectric grease, since it's purpose is to reduce conductivity.

Yes i checked the **** on the dash... and as far as the beeping thats for leaving the keys in the ignition. Ive checked the sensors and they seem fine. Does anyone know where they are actually controlled? is it a relay or in the computer?
