Question Is my car OBD1 or OBD 2

I have always believed my car to be OBD1. I know in 95 some were 1 and others 2. I had a guy try to scan my car yesterday and see why the tranny was acting up and he said the VIN stated it was an OBD2 car and that the car in fact did have an OB2 connector. I believe I also heard that some cars came with OBD2 connectors but had OBD1 pcm's. So how can I tell? You would think that after having the car for two years I would know.

Who's talking about cats?

Even the dual cat 1995 LT1 California emissions cars were OBD-I.

ALL 1995 LT1 f-bodies were OBD-I.

True. Right Now my 1995 California Twin Cat Z28 is parked outside and its the Proud owner of an OBD1 PCM and a sticker in the Underhood compartment stating its OBD1. Under the Driver side panel you will find the OBD2 Connector. Yet its OBD1.
