If you have a competent mechanic look at the datastream it should not be too hard to tell what the problem is. That is of course assuming you can get it to do it when the car is hooked up to the scanner. Other values to look at while the car is on the scanner are MAF, MAP, TPS, and of course the IAC. I think these things would have the most effect on a sudden surge like this. Let us know how it turns out.

i just got out of the shower, so in about 30 minutes ill probably go to autozone. my luck, the fizzarkin car wont do it and then 3 seconds down the road it will.
oh yeah, the car doesnt mess up when i am going a steady speed. i dont remember if i said that before, but once i get going steadily its fine.
