Is this my belt slipping?

I know this will prolly be a dumb question but does this sound like my belt slipping or something else.
I took my car to the shop(I trust them) to replace a heater hose(didnt have a tool to cut the metal part)

Anyways I get it back and when im going to work, im stopped in the parking lot waiting to park...so it begins to sound like i have a supercharger. Im 90% positive thats the belts slipping right?

I think they just got some coolant on the belt and now I gotta replace it, sound right?

Also, when it was doing that, the amps were jumping around and dipping down alot. I JUST put in a new battery and alternator(170 amp alternator, put in the day before)

Oh yea, I do have an underdrive pulley(33%) so does that mean I have to get a differnt size belt? Its the March crank one, none of the balancer stuff.

THank you!!!

Yeah...check to see if the belt is slightly off. i've heard of that before. I have the March pulleys as well and needed shorter a shorter belt. It should have came with the kit.

The underdrive pully has been on there for a long time. Ive actaully had the belt replaced on it a while back at a shop(I never told them I had an underdriver pully)...but i had a coolant leak that was leaking onto the belt, causing it to slip..so they replaced my belt.

I guess I can just look and see what size the belt is. No big deal.

Well, I know for most shops it doesn't matter as far as the pulley goes. They just match up belts. They would know if the belt is too big, unless they are complete idiots of course. I would concentrate more on if it slipped off slightly.

They and run your engine and drop some water on the belt see if the noise goes away. Just to make sure thats your problem.

They prolly put on a standard size belt, especially if you didn't tell them about the underdrive pulley
