My 97 Camaro WILL NOT START!

Hey guys. i have posted on here before. It was under the name redchevcam....
My problem is, my camaro will not start...as u may have read. So ill tell you the backstory on it. I was taking my girlfriends dad out for a drive....and i got on the gas to show him what it could do. It did fine and whatnot, then i turned around to come back down the same road...and when i got on the gas again coming down the road it started sputtering. So i let off. I got it back to my garage, and turned it off, and then it wouldnt start back up. I checked my spark, its good. I checked fuel....im getting fuel. I checked my codes....nothing out of the ordinary. (the usual misfire from the cam because i havnt got my car programmed right yet) I dont know what it could be. now here is what i have done.
Hooker long tubes
Comp Cams 306 cam with springs, and rockers
underdrive pulleys, wires, and plugs
2400 stall (small i know)
msd optispark (yes the 500 dollar one)
and i have rebuilt the motor and have 400 good miles on it.
Any ideas as to why i may be having this problem?

well thats is my next step....taking the opti out. I have tried everything under the sun. It must be something in that expensive little piece of equipment. it is acting like it has no timing

u dont have enough info yet

getting a car running is a matter of fuel spark and compression
now how did you determine that you have spark? did you just pull out a wire and see if it sparks? if so that may not be accurate since its no longer sparking under the 150 or so psi compression pressure, and the sparking plug may have been grounded. How did you check fuel? did you check for pressure at the lines? if so you may still have a faulty injector, or no injector pulse at all, put a noid light on the wiring to see if the computer is sending the signal to pulse the injectors. and of course test compression

what did the car do when you tried to restart it? did it click? did it turn over slowly, or did it turn over fine and just not fire?

but like i said, i dont know what you did and didnt do to check spark and fuel
a little more info can help narrow it down

when i tried ot restart it, it almost started, then died. then just wouldnt start. it acted like the fuel pump went out. because that happened to me before. but i can hear the pump working, and it had pressure on the gauge when i hooked it up. I did just take the plug out and see if it sparked. why would that not be accurate?
